Noonday Prayers & OWLs Luncheon

On Wednesday, April 26, everyone is invited to join us at 12 noon in the chapel for a service of Noonday Prayers.
Following the service, everyone who identifies as an OWL (Older, Wiser, Laity) is invited to a luncheon hosted by St. John’s clergy and staff in the Fireside Room.  Join us for “Prefer Nothing Whatever to Christ”.  Our speaker will be parishioner Helen Boyer, aka Sister Julian n/OSB.  Helen will speak about the most recent leg of her spiritual journey — becoming a Benedictine monastic in a changing world.  Her focus will be on what is expected from her as a contemplative monastic as part of her on-going discernment and formation – and how that relates to her Baptismal Covenant and continuing membership with St. John’s.  Her remarks and the lunch will be reflective of the celebration of Eastertide and the sentiment that “All shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.”
Please RSVP for lunch to the office at 651-228-1172 x10.
