Kayoro Clinic, Uganda

Bringing Connection Across the World

To get involved, contact Sue MacIntosh at suemac94@me.com.

During COVID-19: No trips are being planned but the group is still accepting donations and maintaining its connections with the clinic in Uganda. The Days for Girls sewing group is not meeting regularly at this time.

Kayoro Clinic Committee continues its efforts to provide health support to Kayoro and surrounding villages in Uganda. What started out as St John’s Kayoro Health Clinic II (SJKHCII) is now part of a health care compound! The clinic serves the community with inoculations, prenatal care and delivery, teaching hygiene and now can provide care 24/7.

There are many activities under the Committee’s umbrella, including:

  • yearly mission trips to Kayoro Village in Uganda
  • sewing and assembling reusable menstrual care kits through the Days for Girls program
  • assembling Momma kits of supplies for people who are pregnant and may not be able to give birth at the clinic

Get involved by joining the Kayoro Clinic Committee or participate in one of the ministries.
