Healthy Food for All
Every March, there is a regional campaign to raise hunger awareness. St. John’s uses the first weekend of March to encourage the congregation to bring in non-perishable food items, or funds, and pack the two or three front pews of the church. Then, we caravan the food goods over to Hallie Q. Brown. Hallie Q. Brown converts the poundage and dollars received to points that they then use at the MN Foodshare sites to purchase additional food items as needed.
